Is Rappider really free?
Yes, completely. All editing tools including AI background removal and colorization are free to use. The service is supported by advertising revenue from Google AdSense, which allows us to offer everything without paywalls.
Do I need to create an account?
No account is required. You can start editing immediately without providing any personal information. No email, no password, no sign-up process.
Are my photos safe? Do you store them?
Your photos are processed entirely in your browser and never uploaded to our servers during standard editing. The only exception is AI features (background removal via API, colorization) which temporarily send the image to an AI processing service. No images are permanently stored anywhere.
Why is there a limit on AI features?
AI features like background removal and colorization use external AI models that cost money to run per request. To keep the service free for everyone, we apply a daily usage limit tracked locally in your browser. The limit resets each day and is generous enough for typical personal use.
Can I use edited images commercially?
Images you edit using Rappider are yours to use as you see fit, subject to the rights you hold in the original image. Rappider does not claim any rights to your edited images. Note that if you use AI colorization, the colorized output may be considered a derivative work — consult a legal professional for commercial or publishing use of historical photos.
